Property Transfer Tax Declarations and MyDec

Notice: The Illinois PTAX-203, Real Estate Transfer Declaration Fill-in Form program is available only for those Counties that are not currently utilizing the MyDec system.

MyDec at MyTax Illinois

The Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) updated our processing system and applications, effective September 7, 2021. This upgrade implemented enhancements and will improve the user experience on all applications, including MyDec.  All MyDec functionality will remain available, but the application has a new look and will redesign the entry of PTAX-203 information to present the entry screens in a user-friendly manner (ex. display fewer entry boxes on one screen and allow clean navigation backwards and forwards). MyDec at MyTax Illinois allows users to search for Illinois Real Estate Transfer Declarations (Forms PTAX-203, PTAX 203-A, PTAX 203-B), as well as Cook County and City of Chicago Real Estate Transfer Declarations, if applicable, without logging in to a MyDec account.
