ATTENTION!
The Illinois Department of Revenue has developed a new web portal for Assessors. The new system requires users to create their own username and password. Your old password will not work with the new online Assessor Education System. Users can reset their password on their own without contacting IDOR for assistance.
Please print this page for a hard copy of the step-by-step instructions needed to set up your new account and get started using the online Assessor Education System.
First time users of the new Assessor Education System will need to have a State of Illinois Public Account. If you don't have one, please read the instructions below on how to create a State of Illinois Public Account.
If you already have a State of Illinois Public Account but have not yet registered with the new Assessor Education System, you can skip ahead to the instructions for getting started using the Assessor Education System.
How to create a State of Illinois Public Account
1. Click the "Click here to use AES" button above.
2. Click the "Sign Up" button in the Sign Up section of the State of Illinois Public Account portal.
3. Complete the Self-Registration Form. All fields are required to be entered. Your First Name and Last Name must match your IDOR records.
4. Once all required fields are completed, click on the "Register" button to submit your registration.
5. Open the email account for the email address that you provided when completing the Self-Registration form. An email will be sent containing a link that must be selected to confirm registration.
6. After the link in the email is selected, the account registration will be confirmed. A confirmation screen will appear confirming the registration has been set up.
How to get started using the Assessor Education System
1. Click the "Click here to use AES" button above.
2. Enter the State of Illinois Public Account Username and Password in the Sign In section of the State of Illinois Public Account portal and click the "Sign In" button.
3. Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, your first name, and your last name (must match IDOR records). This is only required upon initial registration. Click "Okay" once entered to proceed.
4. You should now have access to your Assessor Education transcript by selecting the "Account" link in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
