MyDevPortal Helpful Resources
What is MyDevPortal?
Electronic transmitters, software developers, and taxpayers who intend to participate in our direct file program must register through and use MyDevPortal. MyDevPortal is the source for documentation and credential- and registration-related requests for specific electronic transmissions. To participate and use the transmission services MyDevPortal offers, you must obtain a MyDevPortal web logon, credentials, and certification. In addition, MyDevPortal allows participants to register for the Illinois Department of Revenue’s electronic filing programs using the Business Electronic Filing Enrollment (BEFE) process, which has replaced the discontinued Form IL-8633-B.
In certain circumstances, you may receive a letter from IDOR that can be used to register for the transmission services available through MyDevPortal. Use the Letter ID from the letter you receive to complete your registration request.
