Sales Tax Rate Machine Readable Files - Address Specific
The following downloadable machine readable files contain the location-specific sales tax rates for addresses in Illinois*. It is a large comma delimited file (approximately 2 GB compressed and 9 GB uncompressed) generally for use by software developers and electronic transmitters. Sales tax rate changes generally occur effective January 1 or July 1 of each year.
