IDOR Releases the FY 2026 Property Tax Study
The Illinois Department of Revenue has released the FY 2026 Property Tax Study pursuant to Public Act 103-1002.
The study explores the property tax system in Illinois and includes recommendations to improve levy, assessment, appeal, and collection processes. The study was compiled while in consultation with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
