FY 2024-11, Prepaid Wireless E911 Surcharge Rate Change, Effective January 1, 2024

News – Thursday, November 30, 2023

Effective January 1, 2024, the Prepaid Wireless E911 Surcharge rate imposed for locations inside of the city of Chicago on sales of prepaid wireless telecommunications service will decrease from 9 percent (.09) to 3 percent (.03).
