- your name and social security number (SSN) or taxpayer identification number (ITIN), and
- your 2021 adjusted gross income amount as reported on your 2021 Form IL-1040, Illinois Individual Income Tax Return, or Form IL-1040-PTR, Property Tax Rebate, or your IL-PIN, which you can obtain using the IL-PIN Inquiry application.
Under the Illinois Family Relief Plan (PA 102-0700) passed by the Illinois House and Senate, for 2022, one-time individual income and property tax rebates were issued to taxpayers who met certain income requirements. For more information, see tax.illinois.gov/rebates.
By law, Monday, October 17, 2022, was the last day to submit information to receive the Illinois Income Tax Rebate and Property Tax Rebate (Public Act 102-0700). No filing extensions are allowed. Processing of rebates and issuance of payments will continue after October 17, until all have been issued by the Illinois Comptroller's Office.
