How to download and open a PDF form

Some PDF forms may open in a web browser, but certain features will only work correctly when the form is downloaded and opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Steps for proper opening:

  1. Select the PDF link.
    The form may appear inside the browser, but full functionality may not be available.

  2. Download the PDF file.
    • Use the download icon in the browser when available.
    • If no download icon appears, use a right‑click on the link and choose “Save link as…”
    • Save the file to an easy‑to‑find location such as the Desktop or Downloads folder.

  3. Open the file in Adobe Acrobat.
    • Open Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    • Select File > Open and choose the downloaded PDF.
    • The form will open with all features available.

  4. Complete the form in Adobe Acrobat.
    This ensures full access to fillable fields, buttons, and other form functions.
