Hotel Tax Forms

Beginning July 1, 2026, Illinois statutes have been updated to clarify the definition of and related reporting requirements for hotel operators. Updates are currently being made to the instructions below to address these changes. 

For additional information regarding recent changes, please refer to Informational Bulletin FY 2026-33, Hotel Operators’ Occupation Tax Changes, Effective July 1, 2026.

Eligible forms may be filed electronically using MyTax Illinois, a FREE online account management program.
