Where are general information letters located online?
Copies of general information letters issued by the Illinois Department of Revenue are available on our website under the "Letter Rulings" header on the Laws / Rulings / Rules page. Letter rulings are available for both sales and use tax and income tax and are organized by the year in which they were issued.
